Citronella is steam distilled from Cymbopogon nardus, one of several aromatic flowering grasses in the Poaceae family. Originating in tropical Asia and closely related to lemongrass, it was used historically to cleanse and deodorize surfaces. Today citronella is commonly cultivated in Sri Lanka, India, Myanmar, and Java. Citronella essential oil has a fresh, lemony aroma that is well known as a natural deterrent for outdoor nuisances. Applied topically, this essential oil can be used to help fend off flying pests so you can enjoy the outdoors annoyance free.

- Most orders are shipped within 1-3 business days after payment has been confirmed. Standard shipping for most orders takes 4-6 business days. The process may be delayed over the Holiday season or major sales as we do our best to fulfill higher order volumes.
- Please note that if you enter an incorrect shipping address at checkout and the package is returned to us because of the incorrect shipping address, the shipping cost to resend the package to the correct address will be charged to the customer.
